Wishing for the last 2 major missing features:
- 2-way and 3-way redundant clustered file system - 2-way and 3-way sync and async replication Ohhh... hopefully not another 10 years!
For me, the critical missing capability is block pointer rewrite.
This would make several important features possible, including vdev evacuation. The BPR code has been around for a while, but never released. Will Solaris 11 finally get it?
I tested with Sol11 Early Access (snv_173, zpool33, zfs 5) and it does not look like BP Rewrite has been implemented...
